Ambareen Beebeejuan is on the faculty of the University of Mauritius where she teaches Trusts, Revenue, Company and Insolvency Law. Prior to joining the University, Ambareen was a Senior Legal Executive in the Investment Funds and Financial Intermediaries team at BLC Chambers. Ambareen advises on capital and investment vehicles structuring. She holds a bachelor of law degree with honors from the University of Mauritius and a Masters of Law in International Business Law from the University of Central Lancashire. She has also completed the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification and is an ACCA Affiliate. Ambareen is currently pursuing her PhD in International Taxation at the Open University of Mauritius.
