Fidelis Oditah

Fidelis Oditah is a Queens Counsel and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria. He holds a Doctorate in Philosophy from Oxford University, England, where he also taught Corporate Finance, Corporate Insolvency, Company Law, Contracts and Trusts for many years before going into full time commercial and transactional practice in the City of London. Oditah remains a visiting professor to Oxford University Faculty of Law till present. He has lectured and written extensively on Contracts, Commercial Law, Banking and Finance, Corporate Law, and Insolvency. Oditah is best known for his book, Legal Aspects of Receivables Financing (1990) which is the leading English legal text in its field. He also served as a consultant to the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) from 1995 to 1999. Oditah is the managing partner of Fidelis Oditah & Co.
