Sujata Chaudhri is a partner at IP Gurus, an IP boutique firm in India. Prior to joining IP Gurus, Chaudhri was an equity partner at Cowan, Liebowitz & Latman, P.C., a leading United States IP law firm based in New York City. She is admitted to practice law in India and New York. Chaudhri has extensive experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters involving trademarks and copyrights. She is the co-chair of the International Committee of the IP Section of the New York State Bar Association. She also serves on the board of Strategic Intellectual Property Information Private Limited, an investigations company in India. Chaudhri is also a passionate educator and is associated with law schools in the United States and India. She serves as an adjunct professor at the University of New Hampshire Law School (formerly Franklin Pierce Law Center), where she teaches a class on Advanced International and Comparative Law. She will also begin teaching an advanced IP clinical course at the Jindal Global Law School, India, in February 2013. Chaudhri is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council of Franklin Pierce Center for Intellectual Property and has been recently appointed as Distinguished Alumni Ambassador of the Center to India. Chaudhri is a frequent speaker on trademark issues in the United States and India.
